Job Title: Retail Manager

Location: Postmark – Waterloo Station

Position Overview:

As Manager of our Waterloo store, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations within a busy, fast-paced railway station environment. The role requires managing day-to-day activities instore, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, maximizing sales, managing stock, and leading a team of employees. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and experience in retail management, with a focus on high-traffic locations.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage and motivate your team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of your store
• Ensure store standards are always adhered to and that your store is merchandised to company standards.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and Network Rail guidelines
• Drive store performance to meet or exceed sales targets, identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
• Analyse sales data to monitor performance, identify trends, and make adjustments to optimize the shop's layout, stock, and promotions.
• Ensuring Postmark’s customers are looked after and receive the first-class customer service we pride ourselves on.
• Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.
• Monitor stock control processes, including ordering, deliveries, and inventory audits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead, manage, and motivate the store team, ensuring they are fully trained, knowledgeable, and able to deliver excellent service.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
