Knowing that someone is in their corner, cheering them on, can make all the difference. So why not send a good luck card filled with encouragement and positivity? It’s a simple gesture that can have a lasting impact.
Here are some things you might want to include when writing your Good Luck card for different occasions.

Simple and supportive - this can be for more general good luck cards!

  • “Wishing you all the luck in the world, you’ve got this!”
  • “Good luck! I know you’ll do brilliantly.”
  • “Sending positive vibes your way today.”

Exams season is quickly approaching, so here are some exam-specific things you might want to include!

  • “Stay calm, do your best, and everything will fall into place.”
  • “All that hard work is about to pay off, good luck!”
  • “You’re more prepared than you think, go smash it!”

For a new job or new beginning -  Every first day is daunting, whether it’s starting your first day at school, university or a job, a little encouragement can make all the difference.

  • “Good luck on your first day, you’re going to be amazing”
  • “Here’s to exciting new opportunities and fresh starts!”
  • “They’re lucky to have you, go show them what you can do”

Light-hearted and fun:

  • “Good luck, you’ll be brilliant (no pressure though!)”
  • “Go get ‘em! And don’t forget to celebrate after.”
  • “Fingers crossed… but honestly, you won’t need it!”

Adding a personal touch (like a shared memory, an inside joke, or a few heartfelt words) can make your message even more special. After all, it’s not just about wishing luck, it’s about showing you care.

This year, we’ll be sending extra special good luck vibes to Postmark founder, Mark Janson-Smith, who is taking on the 2026 London Marathon in support of the incredible charity Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, which provides vital care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families. It’s the third time he’s run for this charity - and this time, he’ll be doing it in fancy dress!

Luckily for us we have the perfect card to send our good luck messages on.
