Taking time away from social media and screens to enjoy hobbies such as journaling, crafting, or other creative pursuits can be incredibly rewarding. Stationery can also play an important role in mindfulness. Simply writing down your thoughts and feelings can help you slow down, reflect, and have a positive impact on your mental wellbeing.

Stationery has been part of our lives for as long as many of us can remember. From searching for the perfect back-to-school pencil case or that one pen you thought was the coolest thing ever, to the planners, notebooks, and diaries we rely on to stay organised as adults. And who hasn’t owned a notebook or pen that felt “too nice” to use? Whether big or small, most of us have memories and personal connections tied to stationery in some way.

For this year’s Stationery Week, we thought there was no better way to celebrate our love of stationery than by asking team members from our different stores to share their favourite stationery item!

Luke at Blackheath loves this Papier Reading Journal, because it's beautifully formatted for book lovers to review, collate and document their adventures in literature!

Cat lovers Margherita & Reeya at King's Cross adore this Midori Yuru Log notebook, because every page features a different beautiful illustration, plus it's small, light and easy to carry around!

Anais and Abbie at Liverpool Street have chosen the Hirameki art books as they believe creativity is important, and it is essential to nurture your creativity! These Inkerie glitter pens would be perfect for those wishing to add even more fun, and for those who are more precise, the Uniball Artists selection is perfect!

Warning: your desk is about to get a whole lot cuter! The Kitty Sticky Tape Dispenser is Shantel's favourite pick at Battersea - eco friendly, reusable and perfect for adding a sprinkle of personality to your workspace!

Sinead at Greenwich loves this In Real life notebook in her favourite colour. It's the perfect outlet for evening musings after a busy day, paired perfectly with a contrasting Lamy pen.

Wimbledon have chosen a notebook perfect for this time of the year when things can get busy. They teamed it up with the limited edition Lamy pen and a sophisticated stationery pouch.

Millie at East Dulwich loves the 'One Line A Day' Memory books as they are easier to commit to than writing a full diary entry a day & leave you with the perfect 5 year snapshot into life as you enjoy it!

In Northcote Road, our designer team member really enjoys using the Milan mechanical pencil. It's nice to hold, and it also wears down fairly evenly which is much appreciated when drawing. The same applies to the Milan mechanical rubber. Its narrow shape and triangular corners allow for more precision when erasing pencil drawings and refining work. They also enjoy using the Papier Daily Planner, appreciating the paper quality, the thoughtful graphics and prompts and the additional pages for setting goals.

Whether it's fun stationery, a lovely pen , or simply just a notebook that stands out to you. Why not take a look at our wide range of stationery here at Postmark and choose your favourite?
